Mind Games

Okay, who’s ready for another book review? I’ve got Mind Games by Nora Roberts for you. I’m reading like a mad woman over here, and I’m not apologizing for it. Maybe you’re thinking I should be writing my own books, but now I’m enjoying myself where I am.

I want to let people know that there are moments in your life when you don’t need to force things. Go with the flow so you can work out what you are meant to do instead of what you choose for yourself. I believe in the energy of the universe and allow it to move you into alignment. That, to me, is called your divine meaning, and I’m currently feeling this reading gig big time, so I’m going with it.

I’m calling this my “Allowing” season. I’m allowing the energy to move me where I need to be and allowing the hustle, the catch-up, the need, all those things to fall by the wayside and know that the bundle of Christmas lights that I felt for so long noted up inside of me to work themselves out or get thrown out on their own.

So, onto another great book review. Here it goes, and it’s a great book, so you have to go grab it, by the way.

Can you imagine someone living in your head rent-free for half of your life? I sure can’t, but turn the pages of Mind Games, and you’ll learn what that’s like, and it’s terrifying sometimes.

I expected a gritty thriller when I read this book, but it was so much more than that. The depth of the characters is true to Nora Roberts’s style, and the depth of the story is so rich that I cried at certain times like I was watching the movie or living in the story itself.

I enjoyed the backdrop of the community and the side characters. The side characters weren’t lavish, but there was just enough for them to be real.

The imaginative parts were so rich that I wondered how clever they were. Another great book by a legend. Great job, Nora.

Until next time, my friends
